Purging and Binging tips to Stop Your Purging Disorder

We all have experienced times when we eat too much of the wrong thing(s). Thank goodness, there are a few things you can do to cut down on the number of times you go over the edge.

To help keep you away from the grip of The Binge Monster you should not ignore your craving in the first place. If you crave a piece of chocolate cream pie and you ignore that crave day after day, you will probably over do it when you finally do give in to that seemingly uncontrollable craving.

When you get a craving for something that is considered sinful, you can immediately satisfy that urge if you go ahead and have a small sensible serving. If you wait and wait, you will discover also that you weight and weight. Don’t put yourself in the position of having a strong uncontrollable craving everyday because you will not ignore those urges if you are able to satisfy them and you will soon be too fat and unhealthy.

After you find yourself on the ugly side of a binge, don’t despair. Get back on track, now! Do not starve yourself for the rest of the day to make up for the binge, this will only set you up for another binge.

If you binge at night, get back on track in the morning by eating a healthful breakfast.

Keep sugary unhealthy sweets out of the house and replace them with foods that are good for you as well as nutritious. Do not use the excuse that you need to keep junk food in the house for the kids, your children do not need to eat food that is not good for them any more than you do.

 If you have nothing but ‘good’ foods in your kitchen, it is almost impossible to pig-out on what is not there.
