to mattresses, pillows and other furniture is aimed toward the dealers and the manufacturers.
After you have purchased a product that has the tag on it, you may remove
the tag if you wish. Make sure you are completely satisfied with the purchase before you remove the warning tag, because after
the tag is removed a refund or exchange is almost impossible.
So… no, you will not go to jail if you - the purchaser - remove the
ominous warning tag from the mattresses, sofas and other furniture.
As for the dealer or manufacturer - if I were you I would heed the warning.
