7 Point Spring Safety Check for Your Home and Office
Daylight savings time will start one hour early this year -- on March, 11th at 2:00 AM and time is a good time to do a thorough safety check
of your home to make sure you are ready for an emergency.
- Replace
all smoke alarms that are more than 10 years old
Test and replace the batteries of smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors
Replace all carbon detectors that are more than five years old
Adjust the pressure gauge on your fire extinguisher if needed
Check the expiration date on your fire extinguisher, also
Test your flashlights and replace bulbs and batteries if needed
Manually adjust and reprogram the automatic DST updating on your clocks
Always use new batteries
